製造元は、愛知県名古屋市の萬乗醸造。
「SAUVAGE ソバージュ」は仏語で「野生」という意味。原料米の雄町は酒米品種の中でも歴史が古く、その力強い野生が味わいとなってダイレクトに伝わる。
九平次特有とも思える南国の果実のような香りとともに、雄町米の柔らかなコクと旨みが口の中でいっぱいに拡がる。甘みと酸味のバランスが絶妙で、濃厚な料理にも負けない芯の強さを持ちます。”
